A HEREFORDSHIRE country park is giving people the chance to get outside and enjoy autumn.
Guided walks of Queenswood Country Park, off the A49 at Dinmore Hill, are taking place on October 19 and 26 and November 2.
Led by the Countryside Rangers, the walks will leave from the park’s Tourist Information Centre at 2pm on each of the days.
Fungus walks led by field mycologist Sheila Spence are happening on October 25 (from 10am to 12.15pm) and October 29 (2pm to 4.15pm).
Learn why fungi are so important and see if you can find Candlesnuff, Cramp Balls or Jelly Fungus. The walks are £3.50 for adults and £2 for children over 12-years-old. They are not suitable for children under 12.
To book call Sheila on 01531 631736 or email marchesfungi@btinternet.com • The Wildplay Nature Rangers will be at Queenswood on October 28 for some spooky Hallowe’en fun.
Kids can make scary masks, lanterns, monsters and more between 12noon and 2pm in the Autumn Garden and the event is free.
