Hi Everyone.

As you well know by now from the Hereford Times and BBC H&W, my attempt at the One Minute Push-Ups record has been thwarted by Guinness, much to my disappointment, but being the pro that I am I am not going to let me deter this in any shape or form and as such I am intending to set a new benchmark target, and this is to go for the most number of Push-Ups in One Minute with a 44lb Backpack, being ex-Airborne this is bread and butter to me, the most I have done is just over 30, but given time and specialist training I am sure that I can push this to 35.

I will be getting in touch with Guinness just after the end of the school year and hopefully this time round they will say yes.

Wendy, what can I say, well done with your training though I must confess I did have a giggle when you mentioned about the 'loads and loads' of sit-ups...and feeling stiff the following morning, you try doing 3,000 in One Hour, the following day I couldn't even move, apparently I put out two bones in my lower lumber region and it took a sports therapist to put my vertabrae back into place. A week later I was back training, fitness is not just physical conditioning but also mental conditioning, getting through the pain barrier!!!!, you grin and tough it out!!

If you have any fitness questions to put to me then please fire away and I will try my utmost to answer them.

In the meantime i'll catch up with you all again very soon.

Ged.
