FAST food chain Kentucky Fried Chicken has submitted plans to build a restaurant on the outskirts of Ross-on-Wye.
The former site of the Red Hen restaurant near the A449 has been earmarked by the company, which is asking for permission to make small alterations to the existing building.
These include modifications to the porch and a window as well as the creation of a new window at the front of the restaurant for a drive-through service.
