FIREFIGHTERS will be demonstrating the dangers of fire tomorrow (Saturday January 12).
A community safety event will take place at DC Smith's Garage in Ewyas Harold from 10am to 1pm.
Firefighters from Peterchurch and Ewyas Harold fire station will be taking a smoke house' to demonstrate the need for an escape plan and smoke alarms.
This will give people the chance to experience a smoke filled room, similar to the experience of a real house fire.
The crews will also be giving general fire safety advice.
Residents are also invited to talk to firefighters and find out more about fire safety in the home.
