FOWNHOPE beat the freezing conditions to play the only game in the Herefordshire County Premier division last weekend.
The table-topping side were rewarded for getting their game on with a 1-0 victory over Holme Lacy. The win meant that Fownhope increased their gap at the top to three points although second place Westfields Reserves now have five games in hand having only lost three of their 17 matches so far this season.
Westfields Reserves host Kington Town Reserves in a top of the table clash this weekend with only three points separating the sides but with Kington have played a game less.
The title race is set to go down to the wire with five teams separated by six points with less than 10 matches to go.
With no first or second division matches being played St Johns Howle Hill First did book their place in the final of the Ross Cup after beating Ledbury Town Reserves 3-1.
The other Ross Cup semi-final has been re-scheduled for this weekend with Dore Valley First set to play Weston Under Penyard.
The HFA Junior Cup is also scheduled for this weekend with Wellington Colts hosting Bartestree Reserves
