POLICE were called to a second incident in Aylestone Hill which resulted in seven people being arrested for supplying Class A drugs.
A police spokesman initially said that police were called to the street in Hereford after a man was seen walking in the middle of the road.
Officers were called at 8.55am yesterday (Friday) following concerns for the safety of the man and searched the area - there were no further sightings or reports of the man.
The spokesman later said that officers on patrol attended a second incident at 11.40am. Eye witnesses reported seeing sniffer dogs, around six police vehicles and an ambulance at around midday.
Officers went to a property in Aylestone Hill and arrested seven people on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs.
Various items of suspected drugs paraphernalia and suspected class A drugs were discovered at the scene and seven people were subsequently arrested.
A 32-year old man from Birmingham, 53-year-old man of no fixed abode, 34-year-old man from Hereford, 35-year-old woman from Hereford, 22-year-old man from Birmingham, 47-year-old man from Hereford and a 29-year-old man from Hereford were arrested on suspicion of the supply of class A drugs and are currently in police custody.
