MEMBERS and visitors to Old Radnor WI had an enjoyable evening at the December meeting when Sue Hamer gave a demonstration of her flower arranging skills showing what can be done with flowers for Christmas.
Sue, self taught, made it look simple to make Christmas arrangements using all sorts of recycled materials, confessing she is a hoarder of anything reusable for her floral displays.
Sue kindly gave all the arrangements to be entered into the draw, winners taking home a lovely Christmas display.
The evening ended with a lovely supper provided by members and Anne Goodwin's seasonal punch.
The competition in the room for the evening (An Aim For The New Year) was won by Libby Hughes, 2nd Ann Davies.
The November WI whist drive had been held successfully, where Philip Watkins was MC and Graham Hammond had the highest score in the room.
