A MAN was airlifted to hospital after falling from a quad bike down a ravine in Little Dewchurch.
Emergency services were called at 10.11am on Sunday to reports of a 50-year-old man with spinal injuries. Firefighters helped the ambulance service to rescue the man from the ravine.
The man was treated for back pain and immobilised using a scoop stretcher before being airlifted to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, for further treatment.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was helped in the rescue by a fire engine and Landrover from Hereford and a rope rescue unit from Malvern and Droitwich.
