AT 80-years-old Shirley Jones is showing no signs of slowing down as she continues her job at a village primary school.
She has been working at Much Birch School since 1977 as a lunchtime supervisor and she recently celebrated her 80th birthday.
A special assembly was held for Mrs Jones and the school gave her a gift to mark the occasion.
Sasha Davidson, deputy headteacher, said: "We feel it is quite an achievement to still be working in the same place for 40 years and to still be working with great energy and enthusiasm at the age of 80."
