A WOMAN was taken to hospital following a head-on two car crash this morning.

Fire crews from Hereford were called to the two car crash on the A4110 Canon Pyon road at 8am this morning and firefighters released the female.

Two ambulances attended.

An ambulance spokesman said a 30-year-old woman, the driver of a red Mini, was cut free and had pain in her right hip, left leg and where the seatbelt had been.

She was immobilised, given pain relief and taken to Hereford County Hospital.
