MUSIC filled the air when a free event aimed at emphasising the importance of staying active and social in older age was held in Hereford.
'First Time for Everything' is a joint year-long programme by the Royal Voluntary Service and Prudential UK giving older people across the UK the opportunity to try something new for free in their community.
The Hereford Hub in Vicarage Road, St James, was the location for the party when Bandemonium brought their musical skills to create the perfect atmosphere as the project got underway in the city.
Julie Parmenter, from the Royal Voluntary Service, said further activities planned at the Hereford Hub include arts and crafts, IT skills and a reminiscence day.
