A MAN needed facial surgery after being assaulted in Play nightclub in Hereford last Sunday.
The victim was on the dancefloor when he was punched him in the face by a man at around 2am on Sunday, July 8. The victim, who was bleeding then made his way to the toilets to try and clean up but as he left the toilets he was assaulted a second time by the same male, this time being hit on the back of the head, causing him to fall to the ground.
He made his way to hospital with the help of a friend for treatment of his injuries but was transferred to Worcester Royal Hospital for surgery.
