A LORRY became wedged in Bromyard’s one-way system causing its closure for several hours this morning.
The HGV became trapped on Cruxwell Street when attempting to turn left down Church Lane at around 7am this morning.
The one-way system through the town which leads to the council’s car park was blocked until 10am causing disruption and parking problems.
Damage to adjacent properties was also caused by the incident.
Lucy Aldridge, who lives on Cruxwell Street, said that better signs preventing HGV drivers from attempting the narrow turn needs to be installed.
