CHRISTMAS will arrive in Leominster this weekend as the town is lit up for the festive season.
The festivities will begin on Saturday (November 26), when a traditional children's nativity service will be held at the Priory Church at 3pm, featuring children from local schools.
It will be followed by a procession into Corn Square with donkeys and other nativity characters while Choral Diversity will sing carols and festive songs before the lights are turned on at 4.30pm.
Leominster traders will also be involved in the switch-on, with each business set to turn on their own lights at the same time.
Then on Sunday, November 27, the Leominster Christmas Jubilee will be hosting Leominster Winter Festival.
It will take place in Corn Square between 1pm and 5pm and there will be children's entertainment, Christmas stalls, belly dancers, music, mascots and family fun throughout the day.
