STUDENTS at Hereford Sixth Form College have heard about the consequences of Brexit from one of the most knowledgeable men in business.
Chief Economic Advisor to the Treasury Lord Terence Burns addressed 300 students at the college recently outlining the history of how and why it was decided to hold a referendum along with providing an overview of the arguments on either sides of the controversial debate.
Students were particularly captivated by the anecdotal descriptions of economic decision making with previous Lord Chancellor Lawson and Margaret Thatcher.
Lord Burns who was former Chair of Santander followed the talk with a lengthy question and answer session.
