A GOTHIC 'horrorford' ball is to take place in Hereford to raise money for the Sophie Lancaster Foundation.
The event, organised by the Herefordshire FACE Values Board, takes place on Saturday, October 29 at The Venue.
It will be opened by Sylvie Lancaster, the mother of Sophie who was murdered in Lancashire in 2007.
Her murder was treated as a hate crime as she was kicked to death in a Lancashire park because of her gothic appearance.
Live music will be on offer at the fundraising event from the Lena Lovich Band, who will be supported by Lizzie and the Banshees.
The Venue will be transformed and there are other surprises promised throughout the evening included aerial dance.
Tickets are available on the door and cost £5, with Halloween fancy dress encouraged.
The Sophie Lancaster Foundation works to provide educational group-works that will challenge the prejudice and intolerance towards people from alternative subcultures.
