SOME of the county's best food, drink, poetry and music are to be celebrated in Ledbury this weekend.

Around 25 producers will be attending the free event which takes place on the last day of Ledbury's 20th Poetry Festival.

Food offerings will include cheese, preserves and chutneys, fruit, breads and cakes, coffee, fudge and smoked nuts and seeds.

The drinks area will feature a range of ciders, beers and fruit juice, as well as local gin and Ledbury’s own prosecco bar.

The event also welcomes back the Fetch Theatre Company’s Clapper Box, a puppet event featuring small-scale theatre booths, a lot of random objects and wonderfully written quirky adaptations of classic movies.

Poets and musicians who will be providing entertainment throughout the day include Clare Bold, Nico Reznick, Steve Pottinger, Rob Barrett, Dan James, Fiddlers Two, Short Stuff, and A Month of Sundays.

The event, a collaboration between Ledbury Food Group and Ledbury Poetry Festival, takes place on Sunday (July 10) in Bye Street Car Park and Orme and Slade Car Park from 11am to 6pm.

It is supported by local businesses and Ledbury Town Council.
