A 36-YEAR-old who was out in Hereford has been fined for being drunk and disorderly.

Daniel Krikorian of St Leonards-on-Sea, East Sussex pleaded guilty to the charge at Hereford Magistrates' Court.

He was due to appear in court on February 4 but did not attend and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Lesley Ashton, prosecuting, said on January 16 at 3.15am police officers were on duty outside The Kerry in Commercial Street when Krikorian started to shout at them saying they were a waste of money.

A policeman went over to Krikorian and told him to go home but he continued to shout and swear at the officer and they arrested him.

Krikorian, who was representing himself, said his parents live in Hereford and he was visiting the city to see his brother who had just come back for Afghanistan.

He said all he remembers of the incident is seeing a man being arrested "quite roughly" and said he wanted to make sure he witnessed it.

He was fined £115 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £20 and costs of £135. For failing to attend court as soon as practical he was fined £80.
