A NINE-year-old girl has proven she has a way with words after winning a writing award.
Aisling Rogers, a pupil at Luston Primary School, entered the Rotary International of Britain and Ireland Young Writer Competition, 2016.
Her 250-word essay on the seasons saw her judged the best at the local level by members of Leominster Rotary Club.
Her work has now been forwarded on to the next stage in the competition, the Rotary District level.
A presentation to Aisling of a book token and certificate took place at a full morning school assembly at Luston School.
