THE festive season will arrive in Leominster this weekend when the town's Christmas lights are switched on.
Children will be kept entertained throughout the afternoon with entertainment, music and Christmas stalls taking place at the switch-on event in the Corn Square between 12pm and 6pm.
There will be dancing, singing, mascots, bouncy castles, balloon modelling and much more.
A service will be held at the Priory Church at 3pm and local primary schools and Earl Mortimer College will tell the nativity story.
At 4pm Mary and Joseph will lead a procession to Corn Square where they will switch on the Christmas lights at around 4.15pm.
