THE Brook and Border netball and football tournament was held at Radnor Valley Primary School in New Radnor last week. There were seven primary school teams competing in this Radnorshire, Herefordshire border tournament. In the Netball there were teams from Presteigne, Gladestry, Almeley, Shobdon, Eardisley and two teams from Radnor Valley. In the football tournament there were teams from Radnor Valley times two, Presteigne times two, Eardisley, Shobdon and Almeley. The winners of the netball tournament were Gladestry Primary School with Radnor Valley coming second and in the football the winners were Shobdon with runners up Almeley. Netball player of the tournament was Calum from Presteigne Primary School and football player of the tournament was Hugh from Shobdon.
