TWO men have been charged with grievous bodily harm after a brutal beating at a house in Hereford.
Maciej Kanczidrowski, 31, and Piotr Pelka, 24, were arrested at an address in Warncombe Link, Moor Farm, Hereford, yesterday and are due before magistrates this morning.
A 31-year-old man needed facial and skull reconstruction surgery after a serious assault at the address which was sealed off for a forensic search yesterday.
Detectives are probing a “chain of events” that link back to the attack alleged to have occurred on June 20 but which only came to light in recent days.
The victim has been through several facial and skull reconstruction procedures having suffered a fractured cheekbone, fractures to both eye sockets, and multiple fractures to his jaw, nose and skull.
Despite his injuries, he is believed to have made his own way to Hereford County Hospital after the attack.
A woman arrested at the address yesterday has been released on police bail.
