FIREFIGHTERS from Ross-on-Wye will feature at the upcoming UKRO (United Kingdom Rescue Organisation) Challenge 2015.
Last Saturday (June 6) a team from the town’s retained crew took on competition from West Midlands, Hampshire, South Wales, and Avon to test their response to a road collision.
Crews had to safely extricate trapped casualties within 20 minutes assessed by experienced UKRO officials.
The Ross team will now go through to compete in the national UKRO Challenge 2015, which will be held at the Fire Service College in Gloucestershire on July 30-August 2.
