AN INVESTIGATION into the death of a man who died after falling ill at work in Leominster is ongoing.
Herefordshire Council’s Environmental Health Department is leading inquiries after a man died at Arrow Plant and Tool Hire, on Southern Avenue, shortly after 2pm on March 26.
Police said they attended after they received reports that a man was taken ill at work.
The man, in his 50s, was airlifted to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, in Birmingham, with a head injury, but died shortly after midnight.
Herefordshire Council said it has conducted a number of interviews and is continuing to investigate the incident.
In a statement it said: “The council is awaiting the results of the post mortem before it can draw any conclusions from the investigation.
“The full post mortem results can take up to eight weeks to be released.”
