HEREFORD’S River Carnival returns to the waters of the Wye next month.
Entertainment planned around Left Bank, the Bishop’s Meadow and the Castle Green on May 2 includes raft races, fancy dress swimming and a carnival procession complete with drummers.
Groups or teams wishing to take part are welcome to use a canoe or boat while rafts – which can be decorated in a theme of your choice – will be made available for a small cost.
Carnival organisers are keen to add even more boats to the procession down the river and have asked interested parties to send an email to polly@rivercarnival.org or jo@ rivercarnival.org.
