FUNERAL directors are once again appealing for Easter eggs to donate to a women's refuge.
S.A.Evans in Gaol Street, Hereford has collected chocolate treats for the past 14 years and donated them to various charities and groups.
This year staff are collecting eggs to give to Women's Aid in Herefordshire.
Val Fortey, funeral manager, who organises the appeal with Natalie Gibson, said: "We just thought we wanted to give something back to the community. The one year the most we ever had was 800 eggs.
"I think we got about 80 plus last year."
They are asking kind hearted residents to donate Easter eggs and to sign them "With love."
You can donate an egg by calling in at S.A.Evans. The closing date is April 1.
