HEREFORDSHIRE singer Andrew Marc is back on screen tonight in BBC TV talent show The Voice.

The 48-year-old, who sang himself into the final spot of Will.i.am's team of 12 following a blind audition, will be pitted against Esmee Denters in the battle round on tonight's show.

Previously signed up with Justin Timberlake's label, Esmee had a top 10 hit in 2009 with Outta here.

In a Facebook post, Andrew said: "I will be battling against the amazing Esmee Denters and will be singing 'Every little thing she does is Magic' by the Police.

"Esmee has worked with JT......Justin Timberlake where as I've worked with JC......Jimmy Cricket."

An air conditioning engineer by day and pop star impressionist by night, Andrew is the son of Danny Lee – well-known locally for being behind the track Hereford United (We All Love You).

And locals are rallying to support him.

Chris Smart from Hereford-based St Michael’s Hospice said the hospice was thrilled to see him through to the battle round.

"We know he is a long time supporter of the Hospice and as well as entering events like the Half Marathon he has already promised to perform at a fundraisng event," he said.

"Everyone at the hospice wishes him well for the future rounds and we really looking forward to hearing what he does next."

Tune into BBC One at 7.30pm to see Andrew perform.
