A SECOND ward at Hereford County Hospital (HCH) has been confirmed today (Wed) as closed with patients showing symptoms of norovirus.
An outbreak of diarrhoea and vomiting has also had wards at Ross Community Hospital shut to visitors.
Yesterday (Tues), Wye Valley NHS Trust shut Arrow ward at HCH over a norovirus outbreak.
Today, Lugg ward was under visitor restriction.
The trust is urging visitors not to attend any of the county’s hospitals if they have experienced symptoms of diarrhoea or vomiting over the previous 48 hours.
