Would you know what to do if someone close to you suffered a life-threatening accident or illness? If not perhaps you should consider attending the Heartstart training evening at Bredwardine village hall from 7pm to 9pm on Tuesday, March 17th. You will learn how to call for help in an emergency, help someone who is unconscious, recognize the warning signs of a heart attack, deal with choking or serious bleeding and perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The course is free but places are limited so you will need to book by ringing Heloise Kirby on 01981 500160. We’re serving tea and coffee during the evening and you are encouraged to leave a donation to help Herefordshire Heartstart continue this vital programme. Remember, simple skills save lives.
