THE joy of Christmas has been brought to senior citizens and others in Ledbury, thanks to a brass quintet from the John Masefield High School.
Earlier this week, the public-spirited students from the high school visited Leadon Bank residential home, Ledbury Community Hospital and the nursing home, which is attached to the hospital.
Peformers included Jack Bloomer, Joe Bloomer, Grace McCluskly, Beth Hiley and Jamie Hiley, who played a assortment of Christmas carols to the delight of residents.
School manager, Wendy Bradbeer said: "The students were thrilled to be able to have such a attentive audience and enjoyed discussing the music and their instruments afterwards.
"We are very proud of the students and especially Beth Hiley in year 12, who organised the events."
