A MISSING Hereford woman was spotted on Sunday in a Somerset village- two days after she was last seen.

A police appeal was launched over the weekend after Ann Grisman from Hereford did not return from a shopping trip to Taunton on Friday.

She makes the regular visit but when she did not return home, the alarm was raised.

There are concerns for her health as she does not have her medication with her.

Police now know she arrived in Wellington in a taxi with three other people and got out of the vehicle in the Waitrose car park.

But she did not get back into the taxi as initially thought.

There was a sighting of Mrs Grisman in Nynehead, just outside Wellington on Sunday, where the police search is now concentrating.

Ann is described as a white woman, aged 80, about 5ft 4ins tall with silver coloured hair. She wears glasses and when she went missing was wearing a red coat and red handbag.

The CCTV photo shows Ann on the day she went missing.

Police ask Nynehead residents to check garden outbuildings, sheds or garages. If you have seen Mrs Grisman call police on 101, quoting reference MP2858/14.
