THE Royal National College for the Blind (RNC) achieved one of its most successful set of results.
The Hereford college gained a 100 per pass rate, with ten students being accepted into universities.
"Students at RNC have considerable challenges in studying for advanced level examinations," said principal Sheila Tallon.
"Can you imagine tackling a complex geometry problem without being able to see the diagram or producing an art portfolio when you are totally blind?
"However, there are smiling faces with a 100 per cent pass rate at A-level achieved by our students, including a grade A in an art exam."
