HEREFORD United have spoken of their "dismay" at the postponement of the club's first two pre-season matches.
Herefordshire Council has said this Sunday's game against 1st Battalion Rifles and next Saturday's clash with Cardiff City cannot go ahead because of safety concerns.
The Bulls' advisor Andy Lonsdale has since released a statement saying he hopes the match can be rearranged shortly.
"It is with dismay that we have to announce the postponement of the forthcoming Help for Heroes match that was due to be played this coming Sunday," he said.
"This is a very worthy cause and one we were fully committed to supporting.
"A further date will be announced in due course."
