Recently, Leominster Saverne Twinning Association held an English Summer Tea Party at the garden of their treasurer, Sue Baker. Twinners from Leominster were joined by six members from Saverne who were on an informal holiday visit. They appreciated the English traditions and beautiful summer weather.
Next year, in June, there will be a formal visit from Saverne with 30 to 40 twinners coming to Leominster. There is a very happy and friendly twinning between the two towns and new members are always welcome to join.
Chairman, Chris Hinsley, says that language is no barrier to enjoying twinning and Monica Todd, the secretary, would be delighted to give more details of the twinning between Leominster and Saverne. She may be contacted at Monica.Todd@btinternet.com.
