LEDBURY town councillors are to go walkabout in Dog Hill Wood, on an official inspection.
This is following "complaints from members of the public with regards to the untidiness in certain areas".
The beauty spot, to the east of Ledbury town centre, is owned by the town council and contains Green Lane, a popular track with walkers and cyclists and the former packhorse and stagecoach route to Worcester.
Coun Martin Eager said that now better weather was here, the inspection could take place "without the need for wellies".
