CITY of Hereford Rotary Club welcomed five visitors from Tromso Rotary Club, from the far north of Norway. Prior to their arrival they requested to see 'real England and real English life'. Their five day visit included a tour of to Hereford High Town, the cathedral and Mappi Mundi, a skittles match and a Friday night curry. Other highlights of the visit was a trip around the black and white villages, Westonbury Mill Water Gardens, Hay-on-Wye and Ledbury, plus a tour of Westons Cider. All the visitors enjoyed the home hospitality of Hereford Rotarians. In late June six Rotarians and their partners are visiting Tromso to enjoy the midnight sun and life in the Arctic Circle. Hereford Rotary hope to establish greater links between the clubs, including international charity projects and student exchanges as their fellowship and friendship grows.
