A RAMP from an animal transporter lorry fell on a farmer near Colwall today.

A man, believed to be in his 30s, was reportedly knocked to the ground, but had managed to get out from underneath the ramp prior to the arrival of ambulance crews at 11.35am.

He was treated at the scene for a back injury and potential chest injuries before being taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further assessment.
