A LEGENDARY chapter in Hereford United's history looks like living on as part of the new housing redevelopment taking place in the south of the city.

Developers Keepmoat are giving prospective buyers a first look at a selection of designs for homes that will hit the open market when the project based around Belmont Road is completed.

And the plans, available online, feature the project’s working name ‘Radford Gardens’.

Demolition work has already begun, and some units are expected to be completed in the summer – with the 129 private sale homes helping fund the 130 new Hereford Housing properties.

This new development is all well and good 'but' can't couple of things I don't like(even though it's probably too late now to do anything because it seems to be rushing through) ...

1- can't no longer walk around the ground as the houses are going to be right up to the home end?? Why??.

2-under the current climate its hard to imagine, but what if the club find themselves doing well and climbing up the leagues is a possibility? Will the ground be able to expand ??

3- relief road??? All its going to do is move most of the traffic from one part of the city which is 'chocablock' to the other side of the city that's going to be even more 'chocablock' ???

So the prices of the private homes are being artificially exaggerated in order to pay for "council houses". I know this has happened before but not on a one for one basis, this is ridiculous.
