A BROMYARD teenager has had his first hair cut in more than five years in aid of charity.

Ethan Potter had 28 inchs of his locks cut off at the town's High Street barber shop on Monday and has so far raised more than £1,200 for Acorns Children's Hospice.

The hair will be donated to the Little Princess Trust - a county charity that provides real hair wigs to children undergoing cancer treatment.

"It feels really difference - like I've got a new life," said Ethan, who attends Queen Elizabeth Humanities College.

"My friends are really shocked by new look, but I'm glad that I did and pleased how much I raised for charity."
