CHILDREN are being invited to make a costume or mask to commemorate the Hereford River Carnival.

Free workshops will be held at the city's library and on Cathedral Close from 10am to noon on Tuesday, April 15, Saturday, April 19 and Thursday, April 24. The carnival will take place on Saturday, May 3 and will involve a number of events to celebrate the city's river.

The River is Hereford's most underused asset.
This is excellent.
I'd love to see shops and cafes along the river frontage, like in Stratford. Even Birmingham uses it's canals for this sort of thing.
