THE Dragon Fire after school and holiday club celebrated St David’s Day with Dai the dragon’s Zumba party held at Radnor Valley Primary School. Mel Graham led the Zumba dancing with children while their parents took part dressed in Welsh costumes or Welsh shirts.
There was also a raffle at the event with a hamper donated by the Builth Co-op as the first prize, and a second prize of a cuddly toy donated by club chairman Emma Bradford. Winners were Mel Graham and Trudi Price. Proceeds from the event will go towards the running costs of the club.
The Dragon Fire club is putting on and Easter holiday club that will take place from 9am till 5.20pm starting on April 15 and then on the 16, 17, 23, 24 and 25 April. At the club there will be lots of Easter fun and craft, egg hunts and many more indoor and outdoor activities. The fees are £17 for a full day and £8.50 for half a day.
