The recent quiz saw six teams battle it out in a number of rounds of general knowledge and fun questions. At half time everyone tucked into a glass of mulled wine and a middle eastern feast of falafels with side dishes followed by Turkish delight and hazer baba. Noggins Farm from Much Marcle, an award winning, local pork butcher provided a large tray of sumptuous hot sausages which was much appreciated. At the end of the night the scores were close but the clear winner was St Michael’s Hospice which benefits from the £110 we raised at the event. Thanks to all who helped and if it all sounds like fun come along to our next event.
