THREE people were rescued from the River Wye in Hereford yesterday.
Police, the fire service and ambulance crews were all called to the river just after 3.20pm after a member of the public saw a woman go into the water near the rowing club.
A man jumped into the river off the old bridge to try and rescue the woman and was pulled out by the Victoria Bridge.
A second man then went into the river, who helped rescue the woman.
Both he and the woman were later found 100 yards downstream by Bartonsham Dairy.
All three people were taken to Hereford County Hospital and treated for hypothermia.
