NOFITSTATE circus will end its UK tour of Bianco: Turning Savage in Brecon from Friday, September 6.

They will be setting up camp outside Theatr Brycheiniog until Sunday, September 15. The immersive promenade experience is directed by Firenza Guidi and has been reworked since it was first developed with the Eden Project as Bianco: Time For Beauty in 2012.

Based on Jose Saramago’s novel The Elephant’s Journey, Bianco is a combination of sensual extravagance and unadulterated fun. Its constantly evolving narrative, incendiary live band and groundbreaking choreography has excited fans old and new, leading to sell-out shows across the country.

It’s the last strand of the awardwinning production’s tour, and the performers will be fresh from a 22-date run at the Edinburgh Fringe festival. The show has already toured extensively throughout Wales and played to packed audiences in Cardiff, Narberth and Bangor.

And NoFit’s arrival in Brecon will be a particularly poignant moment for Bianco’s trapeze artist and head rigger Lyndall Merry, who hails from the town.

Many of the company performers also come from South Wales, so spirits will be soaring in what promises to be a spectacular homecoming tour from the Welsh company.
