SCOUT LEADERS – Do you have a sense of adventure and fun? Are you young at heart? Do you like working with young people and like-minded adults? Could you join us for a couple of hours a week to help our young people achieve their potential as good citizens? Do you have any special skills or none at all but would like to learn some?
The Scout group in Marden takes boys and girls from surrounding areas. It really needs more leaders and adult helpers to help youngsters be the best they can.
Join us and the group will offer you fun, friendship, training and support. “At the moment we have a Cub section (eight to 10 years) and a Scout section (10 to 14 years) and we would like to encourage more boys and girls to join us but we need more leaders,”
said a spokesman. “We would also like to be able to restart our Beaver colony (six to eight years) but at present have no leaders. If your son or daughter would like to join us we would be delighted to hear from you.
