Cathedral School students secure Cambridge University places

First published in News

FOUR Hereford Cathedral School sixth formers have been offered places at Cambridge.

Successful students are Ros Andrews, who will study natural sciences at Magdalene College, Lucy Mackie (medicine at Trinity Hall), Hannah Roper (music at Fitzwilliam) and Beth Smith (human, social and political sciences at Corpus Christi).

“Securing Oxbridge offers is particularly demanding as the competition is intense, so for eight per cent of our upper sixth to do so is particularly pleasing," said Hereford Cathedral School headteacher Paul Smith.
