MANY of the venues for h.Art week are temporary installations in spaces more normally used for other things.
Among these is the function room at The Temple Bar in Ewyas Harold, more used to parties, conferences and the local mother and baby group than to sculpture, ceramics and paintings.
Curated by land artist Kate Raggett, the exhibition, Inspired by Nature, which runs until Sunday, features work by six artists including Ewyas Harold blacksmith Mervyn Price, a self-taught sculptor working in metal, who is exhibiting his work for the first time. The other five artists are Gill Blair (natural ivy sculptures), Jacky Edwards (fused glass), Kate Dawson (ceramics), Sue Fernandez (photography) and Bronte Woodruff (paintings).
Until Saturday, 11am to 8pm daily, Sunday, September 14, 11am to 5pm.
