THE summer exhibition at the Hay Makers gallery in St John's Place, Hay-on-Wye, features decorative porcelain and stoneware by George Omerod, who uses rich glazes and vibrant patters, jewellery by Xuella Arnold, who works in precious metal and bronze clays, and Laura Baxter, whose work is influenced by plants and wildlife, and collographs by printmaker Hester Cox. Hester takes inspiration from natural landscapes, myths and the symbolism associated with them.
The exhibition runs until Sunday, September 14, Monday to Saturday, 10.30am to 5pm and Sunday, 11am to 4pm.
