HEREFORD Gilbert & Sullivan Society kick off their new season with a "Come and Sing" HMS Pinafore on Saturday at 2pm in St John's Methodist church in St Owen's Street.
No experience is necessary for what will be a fun afternoon singing under the direction of musical director Alan Durman, with professional tenor Russell Painter.
The session will cost £7.50 to include score hire, drinks and cakes.
And if you like the idea of doing more, the society offers the chance to get involved in their next production, Patience, or Bunthorne's Bride, which will be on stage at The Courtyard from March 16 to 19 next year. Rehearsals are on Tuesday nights at 7.30pm at the Cathedral Music School. Singers and helpers (backstage, costumes, publicity) will be made very welcome.
