THE Temple Bar Inn in Ewyas Harold presents its Pop-Up Gallery’s second h.Art exhibition – Inspired by Nature – which also forms the hub of a weekend of art, craft, textiles and food in the village.

The Temple Bar's exhibition features the works of five artists; the vibrant tulip paintings of Sue Pallant, the landscape photographs of Jack Bruten (who is exhibiting his work for the first time), the fused glass forms of Jacky Edwards, the wild wood sculptures of Gill Blair and the ceramic pieces created from minimal, renewable resources and waste materials by Gayle Ansell. The exhibition is open from 11am to 7pm on Saturday and Sunday, and again on September 18, 19 and 20.

At St Michael’s Hall, the exhibition will focus on the works of those channelling their creative passion into the production of pieces that have functionality and purpose, and include pieces by Barbara Bromhead-Wragg, Angela Thoo and Tim Mayall. A special exhibition dedicated to the textile arts of the village can be seen at at The Kemble Centre, while the Memorial Hall will be holding a Jubilee Art Exhibition to mark the 60th Anniversary of the building of the hall, and will be showcasing the work of three local art groups.

On Saturday only, from 10 am to 4pm, the Baptist Church will become a village food hall.
